At autoSense, we have set ourselves the goal of building the fleet management of the future today. Founded in 2018, we have three strong Swiss investors on board: Swisscom, AMAG and Zurich Insurance. A lot of work and dedication has been put into achieving this goal. Today, three years later, 200 customers already rely on autoSense's fleet solutions.

But becoming a 200th customer wasn't always easy. It was necessary to overcome technical challenges, such as data protection, or to meet Swiss employment and tax law requirements. Last but not least, the regular exchange and feedback from our customers was very helpful in continuously developing the autoSense fleet solution. A journey that has paid off, as illustrated by the newest member of the autoSense family, the company e-sculape informatique médicale s.a. in Granges-Paccot (FR). More about that later.

It all started three years ago

Founded on June 4, 2018, autoSense offers, in addition to a private customer solution, innovative fleet management solutions that can be adapted to any fleet size and type of use. Whether it's 5 vehicles or 1,000, time-consuming processes can be automated and operating costs reduced.

Shortly after the company was founded, the first customer, Buchmann Gossau AG in the Zurich Oberland, was acquired on July 3, 2018. For 30 years, the company with ten employees has specialized in vehicle body repairs, towing and breakdown services as well as second-hand car sales and operates a fleet of twenty cars.

Massimo Redigolo, Head of Sales at autoSense, remembers this special day well.

“After careful preparation and a lot of passion, getting your first customer is always a special moment that you never forget,”

so Redigolo.

‍ “He is grateful that the hard work has paid off and developed a solution that creates real value for customers.”

And so we are particularly pleased that we can still count Buchmann Gossau AG among our loyal customers today.

‍ “I decided to use a fleet solution three years ago,”

says Andreas Buchmann, owner of Buchmann Gossau AG.

‍ “This allows me to see the location of my vehicles at any time. This is especially important when I need to get to my customers quickly. This creates customer satisfaction and trust,”

Buchmann explains.

‍ “The autoSense solution impressed us right from the start and thanks to the continuous development of FleetPro, we are constantly benefiting from the new functions and the simple user interface,”

Buchmann adds.

From small to large, autoSense can be used for any fleet size

What makes autoSense so attractive for companies is above all the simplicity with which fleet vehicles can be integrated into the system. autoSense pre-configures the necessary OBD-II adapters for every customer. These can then be installed by the customer himself in just a few simple steps and without any previous technical knowledge. Especially with larger fleets, the time required for this is almost negligible. This has also convinced customers such as Swisscom, with several hundred vehicles, of the autoSense solution.

Today, autoSense already has 200 active fleet customers

With the latest customer, e-sculape informatique médical s.a. in Granges-Paccot (FR), the 200th customer is now joining the autoSense family three years later.

Founded in 2009 by Jérôme Clément, the company now has 8 employees and specializes in IT services in the medical sector. The fleet includes 5 cars including 2 pool vehicles.

“By using fleetPro, we expect a better overview of our fleet,”

says Jerome Clément, chef d'entreprise e-sculape.

“Since we work in the medical sector, the reliability of our vehicles is extremely important. This includes reliable maintenance and service management as well as optimized utilization,”

continues Clément.

“We also looked at other providers. In the end, however, we opted for the autoSense solution, not only because it impressed us with its simplicity and functionality, but also because it was also recommended to us by our trusted garage,”

Clément adds.

Speaking of simple - Clément doesn't miss the opportunity to even lend a hand himself and uses the autoSense adapter in his vehicles within minutes.

Where does the autoSense journey go?

“The last three years have been particularly exciting, intensive and also characterized by a wide variety of challenges. But in the end, the results count and 200 fleet customers who manage their fleets thanks to autoSense.”,

says Jaap Vossen, CEO of autoSense.

“What I find extremely interesting is that there are many similarities between the first customer and the 200th customer. Both are small, innovative, owner-managed companies that see added value and increased efficiency for their companies through the use of our fleet solution,”

Vossen adds.

This once again confirms how companies can remain successful in the long term thanks to smart digitization. autoSense counts companies from all over Switzerland among its customers and maintains a close and supportive relationship with them.

“I am particularly pleased that we are also able to welcome another customer to Romandy with e-sculape,”

Vossen concludes.
